Dear Friends,Happy Advent and Merry Christmas from Camp Jubilee! God graced us with an incredible first summer, and we are even more excited about the upcoming camp season. Our staff is hard at work making preparations. We are working to assemble our team, and we will open camper registration in less than a month.As many of you have heard, the Holy Spirit has led us to a beautiful 78-acre piece of waterfront property in Beaufort, S.C. With roughly one mile of waterfront, it is the perfect property to develop into a Camp and Retreat Center.Our vision is to develop this property in 3 phases:1. Purchase the property2. Develop the Summer Camp3. Develop the Retreat Center.Please continue to pray for us as we seek to raise $3.7 million for the initial purchase of the land. Because we must raise these funds by mid-February, we are currently focussing our asks to a group of potential donors with the capacity to give at a level of $100,000 or more. If the Lord is leading you to give at this level, we invite you to contact us directly. As we move forward with this vision of establishing a new camp and retreat center, we will certainly need the full participation and support of the wider diocese and extended camp community.We truly believe that this is not just a piece of land that would work for our purposes, but rather the property that the Lord is showing us and has kept undeveloped for a day such as today.
