  • This summer we will be hosting our program at two different locations in South Carolina.

    Camp Kinard: Located in the midlands of South Carolina, Camp Kinard is about 30 minutes outside of Columbia.

    Campers who attend a session at Camp Kinard will have the opportunity to enjoy kayaking on the lake, swimming in Kinard’s brand new pool, hiking trough the forrest, and enjoying fun camp programing and games.

    Awanita Valley: Located near the border of North and South Carolina, Awanita Valley is about 30 minutes north of Greenville and 20 minutes south of Hendersonville.

    Campers who attend a session at Awanita Valley will have the opportunity to enjoy a 4WD mountain top excursion as well as the lake front, which includes paddling, zip-line, and waterslide into the lake.

    Campers at both sites will also take part in traditional camp activities such as team building, large group games, arts and crafts, and much more!

  • Your camper will begin and end their day with chapel time. During this time, campers will worship, pray, memorize scripture, hear testimonies, and receive a teaching from our Chaplain. In addition to chapel, your camper will enjoy multiple activity periods each day, as well as swim time, canteen, and camp wide games. Small group time, cabin time, and table fellowship at meals are also an important part of each day.

  • Yes, we allow campers to request one cabin mate. The camper that your child requests must also request your child as a cabin mate in order to be paired (if your camper’s cabin mate request is not reciprocated, they will not be paired). While we do not promise that campers will receive their cabin mate request, we try our best to honor all reciprocated requests. If you need to adjust your cabin mate request, please email summercamp@adosc.org.

    We will not change cabin assignments once they have been made, and we do not allow campers to switch cabins on check-in day.

  • We have new campers every session who come without knowing anyone. While we offer fun and creative activities, our program is designed to be relationally based rather than activity focused. As a relational ministry, our goal is to help campers build intentional community with their peers as well as their staff and counselors. To that end, we are careful to hire staff with the heart and skills to cultivate community with individuals, their cabin, and the wider camp.

  • Our staff is made up of caring, college-aged Christian leaders who love the Lord and have a passion for working with youth. Staff members are well-trained and receive First Aid and CPR certifications before working with campers, and all swim periods are guarded by certified lifeguards. Staff also receive child protection training and background checks before working with campers. Our staff is committed to being camper first, safety first, and gospel-focused in all that we do.

  • Yes! Each session will have an experienced licensed Nurse, who is familiar with working in a camp setting. The Camp Nurse will administer all medication while at camp and is available to attend to campers who become sick or injured.

    ***Please note: Because we will be utilizing host facilities to operate our program this summer, we will not have access to a designated infirmary to quarantine sick campers. In the event that a camper becomes ill and requires separation from the rest of camp, upon being notified, the parent/guardian is responsible for promptly picking up their camper.

  • Yes, we offer needs-based financial aid to registered campers upon request. If financial assistance is requested, we will provide one third of the cost, ask the camper’s home church to cover a third, and ask the camper’s family to cover the remaining third. If you need financial assistance, you will be able to apply for a scholarship once your camper is registered. If we have exhausted our scholarship funds, we will provide a full refund of your application fee.

  • Starting February 1st, campers are allowed to register for additional sessions.

    Our hope is that every child who wants to attend Camp Jubilee has the opportunity to do so, thus campers have to wait until February 1st before registering for multiple sessions.

    Once February 1st arrives, campers can register for as many open sessions that they qualify for as they would like!
